Wednesday, 10th June:

Today we are going to continue with GRAMMAR and we are going to learn how to say that someone wants to do something in affirmative sentences. Pay attention and write the grammar on your English notebook.

He wants to ... (go to the park, read books).
She wants to ... (go to the park, read books).
As you can see, we have to add one 'S' to the verb WANT. This happens because the subject is HE or SHE but not with I or YOU.

Hoy vamos a continuar con la GRAMÁTICA y vamos a aprender como decir que alguien quiere hacer algo en oraciones afirmativas. Prestar atención y copia la gramática en tu cuaderno de inglés.

He wants to ... (go to the park, read books) = Él quiere ... (ir al parque, leer libros).
She wants to ... (go to the park, read books) = Ella quiere ... (ir al parque, leer libros).
Como podéis ver, nosotros tenemos que añadir una 'S' al verbo WANT = QUERER. Esto ocurre porque el sujeto es HE = ÉL o SHE = ELLA, pero no ocurre con I = YO o YOU = TU.
